In the Workplace Sustainability: 07. Green Cleaning Concepts elearning course, we discuss the hazardous risk of commercial cleaning products and the eco-friendly alternatives that are available. No one likes to work in a dirty environment. Employees expect a clean work area so they can be productive and efficient. Institutional cleaning uses 6 billion pounds of formulated chemicals per year! In this course, we’ll examine volatile organic compounds and their impact on air quality and employee health. We’ll discuss the causes and indicators of Sick Building Syndrome, and provide tips on identifying green cleaning products and cleaning methods that can help prevent further damage.
