Understanding your responsibilities as a manager means that you do not just understand health and safety, but that you live it. In this module, we will look at your role in maintaining a healthy and safe workplace, and what areas of additional training you may want to explore.
Workplace Health and Safety is a community health concept that recognizes the right to work free of violence, injury, or illness.
Also recognizes the responsibility for safe workplaces as well as recognizing workplace safety management systems which are put in place to ensure consistent protection across industries.
Know that the purpose of this policy is not only about ensuring employees remain healthy but it also ensures employers are protected from liability claims and can maintain their business operations without interruption.
