Identifying your business needs consists of noting each business problem, goal, or scenario, and the related progression of actions required to resolve it. For example, if your business need is to process customer orders, you might note the following actions: Receive order.
Businesses make a profit by providing things that people need and want. There is a difference between a need and a want. A need is something essential to survive. A want is something which we would like but do not need to survive.
