Do you struggle with adding sources to your essays and academic papers? This training course will show you how to easily create professional-looking citations and bibliographies using Word 2010. The course first covers setting your bibliography style and adding, editing and deleting sources. It then explains the different ways the program’s time-saving Source Manager can help you, including storing information from previous documents, tracking which sources you have cited in the current file, and converting your citation placeholders into sources. Finally, it shows you how to generate a bibliography and update the sources in it to reflect any last-minute changes.
The course takes 18 minutes to complete. It consists of a series of short, narrated videos that use screen recordings to show you exactly where to locate the tools and options you need. Users new to Word may wish to start with the Word 2010 - Intro course to develop an understanding of the fundamentals before taking this one on.
