Why Culture Counts

Technology is bringing us all closer together and business is truly global. Working with people from different cultures is now a common part of work. We each see the world differently; our filters have been directly influenced by our personal background. As part of the Cross-Cultural Business series, this course provides examples of how culture affects perceptions, behaviors, and relationships. You will examine real and fictional examples of opportunities to take culture into account when planning projects. Tips on developing a code of cross-cultural conduct are shared along with ways you can learn about the culture and beliefs of business partners.
