WHS Induction: Working Around Forklifts

Navigating a workspace alongside forklifts can pose significant dangers, as these vehicles are involved in a substantial portion of fatalities and serious injuries, particularly for pedestrians. Therefore, exercising utmost caution is paramount when sharing the same environment with forklifts. This Working Around Forklifts induction module is designed to educate learners about the potential hazards and risks associated with working around forklifts. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the attributes that make forklifts dangerous, the hazards associated with working around forklifts, and the exclusion zone that should be adhered to. This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
