WHS Induction: Slips Trips & Falls

Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace hinges on the pivotal role of good housekeeping. To fulfill legal obligations and foster workplace safety, workers have the responsibility of contributing to a secure environment through conscientious housekeeping practices. This Slips, Trips & Falls induction module provides learners with some simple housekeeping practices and safe work procedures that should be followed to help prevent slips, trips or falls from occurring in the workplace. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the importance of good housekeeping in the workplace, effective strategies for upholding and promoting good housekeeping standards, and some safety rules when using stairs. This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
