WHS Induction: Road Safety

When individuals are operating a vehicle as part of their job, it’s crucial for them to acknowledge that the vehicle serves as their workplace. Consequently, it must be maintained in a safe and optimal working condition. This Road Safety induction module will highlight to learners the numerous daily hazards faced by drivers on the road and provide strategies to mitigate these risks. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the importance of regular vehicle maintenance, including checking tire pressure, tips for safe driving in wet conditions, and rules for mobile phone use. This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
