Workers hold a pivotal role in upholding workplace health and safety by actively identifying potential hazards and promptly reporting them to their manager, supervisor, designated site contact person, or Health and Safety Representative. This Hazard Identification and Risk Control course highlights the significance of this duty, empowering workers with the motivation to remain vigilant against accidents, incidents, and near misses. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt about your responsibilities as a worker in relation to the hazard management program, the significance of the hierarchy of controls when controlling hazards, and why the hazard management program must be constantly evaluated. This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
