WHS Induction: Harassment and Bullying

Bullying and harassment should never find acceptance in any environment. Nonetheless, workplace bullying can be exceptionally detrimental, inflicting distress, embarrassment, and frustration upon both victims and bystanders. With the implementation of new laws and heightened penalties, there’s an increased urgency to confront this issue directly. This Harassment and Bullying course will highlight a zero tolerance approach to such behaviours and offers a succinct resource for workplaces seeking to proactively address and combat workplace bullying. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt some examples of behaviours that constitute harassment and bullying, the responsibilities of both employees and management in its prevention, and the appropriate steps to take when confronted with it. This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
