WHS Induction: Elevated Work Platforms

While Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs) may control risks associated with working at heights, the movement of mobile plant introduces new risks. When operating or observing an EWP, you should be on the constant lookout for workplace hazards. This Elevated Work Platforms course highlights what you should do prior to operating any elevated work platform and the basic safety rules for operating an EWP. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt what a pre-inspection of the work area should focus on, the importance of regular inspections and maintenance the machine and general safety guidelines when using the machine. This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
