WHS Induction: Electrical Safety

Electrical accidents present a grave risk, often occurring unexpectedly and carrying the potential for severe injuries or even fatalities. Unlike mechanical hazards, electrical dangers are not always obvious, as live wires can appear indistinguishable from dead ones. This Electrical Safety course will provide learners with valuable insights into numerous facets of electrical safety. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the potential consequences of exposure to electricity, several prevention measures to avoid an electrocution from occurring, and some simple guidelines for the safe use of portable electrical equipment. This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
