WHS Induction: Compressed Air

It is important to recognise that compressed air is an energy source and as such, should be treated with the same respect as electricity. Improper use of compressed air can lead to serious injuries for workers. This Compressed Air course will highlight the potential dangers of improper use and the key safety practices that should be adhered to when working with compressed air. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the potential injuries that can occur when working with compressed air, as well as key safety practices including proper handling of air guns, checking equipment for damage, reporting faults, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, This course is one part of a 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
