WHS Induction: Chain of Responsibility

The Chain of Responsibility (CoR) is a law that deals with the loading, unloading and movement of heavy vehicles. It ensures that everyone on and off the road that is involved in the supply chain is equally responsible for complying to Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL). This Chain of Responsibility course will highlight that all parties involved in the supply chain share equal responsibility for complying with the HVNL under the CoR law. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt common COR errors such as breaching fatigue management and inadequate load securing, the penalties for non-compliance, and the requirements for demonstrating reasonable steps to prevent breaches. This course is one part of an 50 part WHS Induction series aimed at new inductees and existing workers.
