Wage and Hour Basics (Manager)

In this course, we review your responsibilities as a manager to ensure your workforce is paid fairly, equitably and according to the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA). You’ll learn about the key provisions of the FLSA and what is covered under Federal and state law. As a manager, you will learn your role in ensuring your workforce is paid according to the laws and what the penalties are if you fail to do so. The course also covers the difference between exempt and non-exempt status when it comes to overtime.
