In this tutorial, you’ll learn to work with shapes, stencils, themes, backgrounds, and templates to create compelling diagrams and charts. You’ll also sample Visio’s new features like importing external data. Once you’ve worked through the basics of creating a document and adding shapes to your diagram, you’ll explore more advanced features like AutoConnect, AutoAlign and adding custom shapes and stencils from the Microsoft Download Center to expedite the creation of your diagram or flowchart.
