Understanding UDAAP

This course will teach you about unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts and practices (UDAAPs) and their effects on consumers and the financial marketplace. It starts out by looking at the UDAAP rule that was implemented by the Dodd-Frank Act and explains which acts or practices are deemed to be unfair. The course then explores some real-life violations of the rule and the consequences for the companies involved. Lastly, it explains how to set up a UDAAP compliance program to help your financial institution avoid making the same mistakes.
