Topics include soil collapse risks, hazard identification, hazard control methods (sloping, shoring, shielding), and safe entry/exit procedures. It emphasizes the role of the competent person in trench safety.

An interactive simulation allows learners to inspect a trench for hazards, apply safety practices, and make informed decisions to prevent trench collapses, promoting a safer work environment.
