Train the Trainer: 04. Managing the Audience

In our elearning course, Managing the Audience, you’ll learn about the steps you need to take before sharing a presentation with a live audience. We will discuss the types of room layouts (row, u-shape and pod), determine which is best for your presentation, and talk about your options when you don’t have the ability to change the layout. We’ll also review the types of learners that could be present in the audience - visual, auditory, verbal and kinesthetic - and strategies to accommodate each of these learning types. Finally, we will go over how to deal with difficult personalities in the audience and illustrate how to manage the talk hog, hecklers, the non-talkers and more.
