Tokenism

In the elearning course, Tokenism, we will discuss the practice of tokenism - which describes when a minority is added to the mix to show diversity in a company. We’ll talk about why the practice of hiring just to meet a diversity quota harms both the individual and the company, and go over some best practices for hiring a truly diverse workforce. Finally, we will discuss the concept of appearance vs. impact, and how you can put your organization on the right track toward building a diverse workplace.
