The marketing funnel is the process of converting a visitor into a paying customer. It’s important to focus on the marketing funnel if you want your business’ sales process to be effective. Like a funnel, marketers throw out a broad net to grab as many leads as feasible, and then slowly cultivate and nurture potential customers through the buying decision, slimming down these candidates in each stage of the funnel.
