The Easy Guide to Silica Awareness

Silica is a naturally occurring mineral found in many materials commonly used in construction, mining, and manufacturing industries. Respirable crystalline silica (RCS) is a hazardous dust generated when working with materials that contain crystalline silica, and can cause serious lung diseases if inhaled. This Easy Guide to Silica Awareness course will outline the dangers associated with tasks that generate or increase exposure to RCS dust.
