Taking A True Break

On stressful or busy days, it can be hard to find the time to take a break. But those are the days when a true break is most important - a moment to rest, relax, and release all mental effort. This audio-only course is led by Jay Vidyarthi, a human-centered UX designer and mindfulness expert who works in the intersections of well-being and technology, designing and researching new strategies to restore attention and cultivate positive mental health. In this course, you’ll learn how to fully relax and take a true break - not one where your mind is still occupied with your problems. You’ll practice a mindfulness exercise to drop the effort and simply do nothing at all. And you’ll discover the power of taking breaks during times of crisis. After this course, you’ll be able to harness the power of true breaks to experience deeper peace and relaxation.
