Tackling Tough Topics

You may be asked to facilitate a subject that is very sensitive, or could find yourself part way through a presentation and learn that you have struck a nerve and will need to adjust your material.
Engaging in conversation about sensitive issues gives the entire team an opportunity to express opinions and hear the perspectives of others, which in turn can build better understanding and lead to increased trust.
A sensitive subject or issue needs to be dealt with carefully because it is likely to cause disagreement or make people angry or upset.
