Gain expert-level skills in building visualizations, organizing data and designing dashboards with this advanced Tableau course. You will cover advanced topics such as parameters, level of detail (LOD) expressions, sets, spatial functions, advanced filters and table calculations. you’ll learn how to animate visualizations and build Sankey diagrams, geospatial charts, sunburst charts and circular charts, among others, to create sophisticated visual data presentations. From there, you’ll learn how to use charts to create your own dashboards.
As reinforcement to what you’ve learned, see how Tableau works in the real world, as you participate in five exercises that run through everything from building dashboards with animated visualization and LOD expressions to building circular calendar charts, bump charts, and area charts, before finally building a Sankey diagram that will highlight actions. By the end of the course, you will be able to leverage your enhanced skill set to make data-driven business decisions that ultimately will help you advance in your data analysis career. This advanced course is designed for those who already have a good foundation in Tableau. While suitable for both Windows and Mac users, the course features only Tableau Desktop.
