Systematic Approach to Continuous Improvement

Creating efficient processes is an on-going job that requires correctly identifying issues, and adopting a process of continually improvement. This course is part of the Improving Efficiency Pocketbook series, a series that provides tips and techniques on how to analyze and improve your processes to save time, money, and resources. In this course, you’ll learn how to perform a root-cause analysis using the “5 Whys” approach and utilizing a fishbone, or Ishikawa diagram, to identify the root causes of problems. You’ll also learn two different continual process methods, PDCA and Kaizen, to provide structure to your process improvement efforts.
