STCW – Passenger Safety and Social Responsibility

Target Learners: The training in Personal Safety and Social Responsibility is for all Seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity on board ship on the business of that ship as part of the ship’s complement with designated safety or pollution-prevention duties.

Important Note: The content of this course covers the requirements for the Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities course contained in the syllabus in the STCW Code, Table A-VI/1-4, ‚ÄúSpecification of the minimum standard of competence in Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities”. Learners and Organisations remain responsible to ensure that their flag state regulators have approved this course for operations under the particular Flag State Regulations.
