STCW – Crowd Management and Passenger Safety

Target Learners:
All seafarers/crew providing direct service to passengers. This program aims to provide knowledge to those who may be designated to perform the duties and responsibilities relating to crowd control, as per STCW A-V/2-1&2.

The Crowd Management Training program meets the mandatory minimum requirements for the training of masters, officers, ratings and other personnel on ro-ro passenger ships and on passenger ships other than ro-ro passenger ships. The Standards of Training and Certification of Watchkeepers Convention, STCW ’95, and more specifically the Manila amendments, further lay down the standards to which crew must be trained.

Important Note: All of our maritime training programs are designed in accordance with the principles stipulated in the International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO) Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), and the ISPS Code, that all maritime training institutions must meet when providing training.

Learners (Organisations) remain responsible to ensure that their flag state regulators have approved this course for operations under the particular Flag State Regulations.
