Staying Connected While Working Remotely

When you work remotely, feelings of social isolation and a lack of connectedness can often take hold. But what if you could train your mind to feel connected - even when you’re miles apart from friends or colleagues? This audio-only course is led by Dr. Cortland Dahl, a research scientist, meditation teacher, and Chief Contemplative Officer at HMI who spent eight years translating Tibetan Buddhist texts before getting his Ph.D. in neuroscience. He’ll lead you through a guided meditation to help you strengthen feelings of connectedness with your coworkers. You’ll reflect on the colleagues and coworkers who support you and learn to express gratitude and appreciation toward them, even from afar. This practice will teach you simple strategies to strengthen your connections to those you work with. After this course, you’ll be able to practice techniques that combat social isolation and can help you experience deeper feelings of connectedness to your team.
