SSAS 2012, Part 08 of 10: DAX

DAX or Data Analysis Expression language allows developers to extract data from dashboards and reports. This course will begin by explaining how DAX relates to the tabular model. It will progress to how row and filter contexts and functions can be used to manipulate data and then how Time Intelligence allows for slicing data quickly and easily. Finally it will show how DAX can be used to populate Reporting dropdowns and report previews.

Each LearnNowOnline training course is made up of Modules (typically an hour in length). Within each module there are Topics (typically 15-30 minutes each) and Subtopics (typically 2-5 minutes each). There is a Post Exam for each Module that must be passed with a score of 70% or higher to successfully and fully complete the course.
