Skin Cancer

Australia is the world’s leading country for cases of skin cancer, in fact skin cancers account for over two thirds of all cancers diagnosed in Australia. Workers who are outside between the hours of 11am and 4pm (when ultraviolet radiation is most intense) have an increased risk of skin cancer. This Skin Cancer course will help protect your workers from the dangers of the sun with several easy-to-follow tips on how to reduce the risk of getting skin cancer. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt how to recognise the early signs of skin cancer, the different types of cancers, and how to be ‚‘SunSmart‚It’. This course is one part of a 36 part Induction Series aimed at blue-collar workers.
