SharePoint 2013 Developer, Part 10 of 15: Master Page

Master Pages are a core part of the SharePoint user interface branding, and knowing how they work and how to build and deploy them is a great skill to have. SharePoint 2013 introduces a new tool, Design Manager, which aids in the development of master pages, in addition to the traditional ways with SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio. Also introduced in SharePoint 2013 is the concept of Device Channels, which address the problem of directing different types of content to different devices.You will walk away with an understanding of how master pages work, how to create master pages in SharePoint, and how to direct different types of content to different devices.
Each LearnNowOnline training course is made up of Modules (typically an hour in length). Within each module there are Topics (typically 15-30 minutes each) and Subtopics (typically 2-5 minutes each). There is a Post Exam for each Module that must be passed with a score of 70% or higher to successfully and fully complete the course.
