Security for Retail and Hospitality Staff: Desk and Counter Security

The desk or counter area is one of the most significant risk hotspots in retail and hospitality locations. This course equips learners to secure this area from criminal activity.
By exploring a series of animated workplace environments, learners gain a new perspective on the counter area, developing stronger situational awareness and acquiring key security know-how. The course sets out best practice for a range of common scenarios. The course includes a multiple-choice assessment to test learners’ mastery of the content. ‚ÄúDesk and Counter Security” forms part of the Security for Retail and Hospitality Staff series. Designed to improve workplace safety and reduce the risk of criminal activity, the series provides targeted security training for retail and hospitality staff. It was developed in partnership with security specialists Trisat, who have helped clients from Jaguar Land Rover to T-Mobile create more secure working environments.
