Safety in Healthcare: No Lift Policy

Staff who get hurt on the job can suffer physical pain that may affect them for months, years or in some cases, stick with them for the rest of their lives. Even after an on-the-job injuryheals, emotional and financial difficulties can linger. That is why preventing these injuries is such an important mission for our healthcare facility. This No Lift Policy course introduces and discusses a no-lift patient policy, promoting safe patient care and preventing musculoskeletal injuries among staff.Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the rationale behind the no-lift patient policy and its importance in preventing injuries for both healthcare workers and patients, guidelines for the proper use of patient lifting machines, and the significance of patient and staff support in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
