Safety in Healthcare: Harassment and Bullying

Everyone has the right to work in an environment free from bullying, harassment, discrimination and violence. Bullying in the workplace is illegal and can erode self-esteem, cause anger, shock, loss of confidence and increased sense of vulnerability. This Harassment and Bullying course aims to raise awareness about the serious consequences of harassment and bullying,emphasising the detrimental impact on the well-being of victims and witnesses, and the importance of creating a supportive atmosphere.Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the signs and examples of workplace bullying and harassment, the distinction between strong management and bullying, and how to navigate the resolution process. This course is one part of our 20 part “Safety in Healthcare” series aimed exclusively at healthcare workers.
