Regulatory Examination Preparation

Prepare your bank for regulatory examinations by becoming more familiar with the examination process and reviewing key regulations that banks have the most trouble complying with. You will learn about the purpose, scope and 3 stages of a compliance examination, as well as the role of the compliance examiner and the types of information they may request from you. Then, you will learn about consumer compliance ratings, what the scores mean, and how they are given. Lastly, we review key regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act and the Truth in Lending Act, identifying common areas of concern for most banks.
