Regulation CC: Funds Availability Act – In Depth

This course introduces you to Regulation CC and the Expedited Funds and Availability Act, which were put in place to combat abusive hold policies employed by some financial institutions. The course clearly explains when funds must be made available to customers and outlines some important rules and regulations for dealing with substitute checks. It describes exceptions to the rules, and describes when and how a financial institution is required to send out disclosures and notifications. It also explains the bank’s responsibilities for paying or returning checks in detail.

The training course uses a mix of text, audio narration and practice activities to keep the information engaging and easy to absorb. Pop-up windows and test questions are distributed throughout the course to expand upon and check your understanding of the material. Students who pass the final test with a score of 80 percent or higher will receive a Certificate of Completion.
