Pumps Introduction

Pumps are essential to virtually all industrial processes and they play critical roles in our everyday lives. Understanding the basics of fluid mechanics and the operation of different types of pumps is an essential step toward being able to understand, troubleshoot and improve a wide variety of processes.
This course includes a brief overview of fluid mechanics as well as the differences between centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, including their operational characteristics and applications.
