Proofreading and Finishing

The writing process does not end with getting the words on paper or on screen. In this module we will give you an overview of the processes of proofreading, peer review and preparing a manuscript for printing and publishing.
Proofreading means examining your text carefully to find and correct typographical errors and mistakes in grammar, style, and spelling. Proofreading ensures that the document is completely free of errors and polished to a high standard. Proofreading is important as it can add power to our writing; without it, our work has a higher chance of containing errors.
