Preventing Unlawful Workplace Harassment (Federal Agency – Employee)

Designed for U.S. federal government employees, this training course covers how to identify harassing behavior in the workplace and the steps to take if you witness or experience harassment firsthand. To begin, we’ll outline anti-discrimination laws and the protected classes they aim to safeguard. You’ll learn about quid pro quo and hostile environment harassment, along with the different contexts in which harassment can occur, including electronic communications. We will also discuss measures you can take to prevent and report harassment.

The 30-minute course offers an engaging learning experience with audio narration, resource links, and scenario-based exercises highlighting real-world examples of workplace harassment. A final online test provides a convenient opportunity to evaluate your retention of key concepts.
