Pharmacy News and Views: Navigating Current Mental Health Challenges

This course reviews the current mental health challenges faced by patients, particularly in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, and can be taken by anyone interested in the topic, but offers continuing education (CE) credit for United States healthcare practitioners, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The course focuses on understanding the clinical presentation, management, and prevention of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Participants will also review new treatments, drug interactions, and FDA alerts relevant to mental health care, helping pharmacy professionals better support their patients during these challenging times.
