Personal Protective Equipment – Orientation

Every workplace presents potential hazards. These might stem from the equipment we utilize, our surroundings, or the elevations we must reach. Despite these risks, the vast majority of accidents can be prevented with the proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment).

PPE varies widely, encompassing items such as respirators, harnesses, face shields, and gloves. The specific environment and tools you work with will dictate the necessary PPE for ensuring safety.

This course offers an introductory overview of personal protective equipment, discussing its protective capabilities, fit testing methods, and guidance on determining the appropriate PPE for your work setting.
