Personal Protective Equipment – Eye and Face Protection: Incident Prevention

This course centers on the ongoing care and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE), specifically eye and face protection. Participants will learn crucial steps in ensuring the effectiveness of PPE, including recognizing and addressing structural or optical defects, proper cleaning practices, and emergency response procedures in case of eye injuries. Emphasis is placed on the importance of routine maintenance, appropriate storage, and the role of emergency eyewash stations to prevent further injury in the workplace.
