These can cause serious injuries to the operator or anyone else who is nearby.This Outdoor Tools course highlights the risks associated with using outdoor power tools and lays out some simple measures that can be taken prior to operating any outdoor power tool to minimise the risk of injury to operators, co-workers and the public. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt about the importance of wearing the appropriate PPE, pre-inspection of the area you’re about to work on, how to refuel the power tool safely and how to avoid slips, trips and falls. This course is one part of a 36 part Induction Series aimed at blue-collar workers.
