Occupational Health: Hypothermia

This course is aimed at individuals who have work tasks requiring them to work outdoors in cold environments and for extended periods, for example, snow cleanup crews, sanitation workers, police officers and emergency response and recovery personnel.
Hypothermia can be encountered in these types of work environments, and is considered a medical emergency.
This course will help employers and workers understand what hypothermia is, how it may affect their health and safety, and how it can be prevented.
