New Hire Orientation – General Industry: Emergency Procedures

This course is designed to equip individuals with essential skills for responding to emergencies in the workplace. Focusing on the critical initial moments before emergency personnel arrive, the course emphasizes the importance of preventive measures and proper procedures. Participants will learn about the significance of first aid kits, the location and use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), and the necessity of annual training in CPR and choking prevention. The training addresses immediate steps to be taken during an incident, including scene assessment, securing the area, and notification procedures.
