New Employee Training for College and School Districts

Designed for employees beginning their employment at an educational institution, this course covers vital information for safeguarding their well-being in the workplace, along with that of students and co-workers. In this course, we’ll discuss evacuation and emergency response plans, how to deal with medical crises, appropriate actions to take when child abuse or neglect is suspected, and measures for maintaining a harassment-free work environment. We will also summarize employee benefit programs and review guidelines for mitigating employee and employer vulnerability to lawsuits. The 45-minute course offers an engaging approach to new employee training, with interactive lessons, audio narration, and scenario-based application exercises. A final quiz offers an opportunity for employees to review what they’ve learned and verify their retention of key policies and procedures.
