National Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (U.S.)

Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders represent about 50 ethnic groups who speak over 100 languages in the United States. Learning about and celebrating cultures different from your own is a way to foster inclusion, empathy, and allyship in both your work environment and community. In this course, you’ll receive an overview of the significance and origins of National Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month and be introduced to influential figures from the AAPI communities. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to identify ways to participate in the observance.
