This course teaches you how to use Microsoft SQL Server Manager 2012 Express, a free data management system that is ideal for lightweight applications. Great for beginners, this course starts with basics like how to download and install the program. It then explains how to create databases and queries, how to control which roles users are assigned to, how to backup and restore your database, and much more. In addition, should you choose to upgrade to Microsoft SQL Server Manager 2012, the full-featured version of the program, most of the skills you learn from this course will easily transfer over.
The course takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete. It consists of a series of short videos featuring screen recordings that clearly demonstrate how to perform each task step by step. A menu allows you to easily navigate to a specific video whenever you wish to review important information.
