Mental Health and Wellbeing: Mental vs Physical

Workplace health and safety laws demand that we all have a duty of care to take reasonable care for our own health and safety and to not adversely affect the health and safety of others. This duty of care is not confined to just the physical aspect, but psychological health and safety as well. This Mental vs Physical course compares the compassionate response given to a physically injured employee in contrast to the apathetic response given to a mentally injured employee. It details to the manager what they can be doing to help create a caring and better-educated workplace.

Once the course is completed you will have learnt how creating a mentally healthy workplace is a shared responsibility, how to promote good mental health in the workplace, and the danger of assumptions when it comes to mental health. This training course is one part of a 13 part series on mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. Eight of the modules are curated for the manager whilst five are for their employees. This particular course is ideal for managers and supervisors.
